About

I have been photographing since I was 15. I started with a ‘DoKa’ where I developed and processed his own photo’s in Man Ray style, backlighting, dodging, burning and having fun.

In 2003, I bought my first Canon EOS Rebel (300d) digital camera, taking photography to the next level. I no longer needed physical photo reels, which were very expensive for me as a student, thus more photo’s were taken as a result.

After that a brief period of shooting with a Nikon happened, only to switch back to a Canon 50d rapidly. This camera was my prime tool of choice for a very long time. A few years went passed without much photography, but the fire never went out. In very early 2020, a big leap forward was taken by switching to Sony. I’m currently shooting with the A7r4, and lenses from Sony and Sigma.

Shooting style

Shooting many things over the last decades, but I like to shoot differently and taking on many different projects at once. At current date, I’m exploring non-standard portrait and partial street photography, while trying to build a personal connection with the people I shoot.

Goals

After winning some small general contests, I’ve set myself the goal to publish work (my own or commissioned) somewhere in a renown magazine or paper. If you read this, and happen to be able to help, please please please fill out the contact form on the right and let me know how I can make this happen. You will be thanked massively haha! :)
